Renaissance civilization might seem a long way off today,
but it's not. The spirit of that time is diffused in these

along the roads.

the quarrels of the people, the spiritual anxieties of the
mystics, the longing for knowledge by the magicians and
alchemists are all relived in the Tarot of the
Renaissance…it seems distant now but it is actually
incredibly contemporary.
