When a Fairy (or a human being) wants to question the Tarots, he has to know that he is about to make a magical act. Even for naive and thoughtless creature like Fairies, who find it very difficult to take anything seriously, they know it is no joke to consult Tarots.
Therefore, the necessary preparation for the reading mustn't be taken thoughtlessly. Anyone wanting to learn to interpret Tarots must learn the meanings of Major and minor Arcana, remembering that every card has many meanings and thus one has to be very sensitive to give a proper reading.
It is important to consider the position of the Tarots on the table, if they are in the right direction or upside down and so on: all these elements concur to give a correct interpretation of cards.
It is also possible to have different reading keys.
The Great Magician learned that every different arrangement of cards gave information on different subjects: the present, the past, the future, love, business and so on. These combinations were called reading keys and were different according to each question the Consultant asked.

The pentacle
This reading key is often used by Fairies in order to better understand every aspect of their inner world. Even if this is one of the easiest reading keys, the Pentacle is very suggestive and is a good exercise to learn to know and to interpret cards and their meanings.
The consultant shuffles the deck properly, he puts it on the table and cuts it; the consultant takes the lower half of the deck and lays five cards.
The first card represents the inner situation of the consultant; the second card represents the direction of his life; the third represents the obstacles that will appear; the fourth suggests a way to overcome those obstacles. The last card points out the objective the Consultant should give himself during his life.

Quando un Folletto (o un essere umano) vuole interrogare i tarocchi, deve tener presente che sta per compiere un atto magico. per quanto possa essere difficile, per creature vaghe e spensierate come i Folletti, prendere sul serio qualunque cosa, essi sanno che non c'é da scherzare quando si interpellano i Tarocchi.
Bisogna pertanto non prendere alla leggera la preparazione necessaria per una lettura. Chi vuole imparare a leggere e interpretare i Tarocchi deve imparare bene la descrizione degli Arcani, tenendo conto del fatto che ogni carta ha molteplici significati e che quindi bisogna essere molto sensibili per dare una corretta lettura.
Tenere conto della posizione dei Tarocchi è molto importante, come sono uno rispetto all'altro o se sono diritti o capovolti, se escono prima o dopo... Vi è in più la questione delle chiavi di lettura, che sono molteplici e danno ciascuna risposta a una diversa domanda del Consultante, come il passato, il presente, il futuro, l'amore o gli affari.

Il Pentacolo
Questa chiave di lettura è usata da molti Folletti per conoscere bene ogni aspetto del loro mondo interiore. pur essendo una delle chiavi di lettura più semplici è molto suggestiva ed è un buon esercizio per imparare a conoscere ed interpretare le carte e i loro significati.
Il Consultante deve iniziare mischiando molto bene il mazzo di carte, in modo da infondergli la propria energia. Quando si è sicuri di avere bene caricato il mazzo lo si posa sul tavolo e lo si taglia; il Consultante prenderà la metà inferiore e disporrà cinque carte in modo da formare una stella.
La prima carta rappresenta la situazione interna attuale del Consultante; la seconda carta rappresenta la direzione verso cui si sta dirigendo la sua vita; la terza rappresenta gli ostacoli che si presenteranno; la quarta consiglia il modo di superare tali ostacoli. L'ultima carta indica quale deve essere lo scopo da perseguire nella propria vita.
