In 1909 the artist Pamela Colman Smith, under the direction of Arthur Edward Waite, created an innovative 78-card Tarot deck that would be recognized as revolutionary.
Thanks to the descriptive scenes that illustrate all the minor Arcana, the deck broke away from the Tarot's centuries-old tradition to become the reference point for all the decks published later.
The restoration of the colors of this edition is by the Italian artist Barbara Nosenzo.
